Simon is currently the Director of Partnerships at the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH) in London where he is responsible for coordinating CTH’s special projects and Centre development work, as well as heading up CTH’s relationships with key industry players and universities. CTH is a global professional qualifications awarding organization, specializing in the fast-growing hospitality, culinary and tourism sector.
Prior to his role at CTH, Simon had worked in the education sector, launching, running, and developing further and higher education colleges in various UK cities. Simon was chairman of British Study Centres, an educational group with colleges around the UK, including British Study Centres School of English, West London College, Oxford Media & Business School and Hove College Brighton.
With over 35 years of industry experience, Simon has been closely involved in the education sector throughout his career, serving on the boards of both English UK and Study UK. He is also a founder trustee and board member of the Kisomo Foundation, a charity set up to develop educational opportunities for orphans in Kenya, which he founded in partnership with Lady Morris (former UK Education Secretary) and Jeremy Hunt MP (former UK Foreign Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer).
Mr. Kitti Kittiwong obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and Management, The University of Nottingham. His initial foray into education began with his collaboration with Ms. Rapeephan Rattanakomut in founding Xcel Tutor, a tutoring school in Prachinburi Province. The school emphasizes enhancing and developing students' knowledge and capabilities, helping them compete effectively at both regional and national levels.
Mr. Kitti's management has established Xcel Tutor as a prestigious institution, highly regarded by parents and students in Prachinburi Province and neighboring areas. He has also earned recognition from schools and universities for academic cooperation, including being invited as a guest lecturer at Satriwithaya School and as a keynote speaker at Thammasat University on further education-related topics.
Given Mr. Kitti's expertise and experience in providing guidance for studying abroad, he has been invited to be a specialist at Gen Education Malaysia. This company specializes in consulting, managing, and advising students on secondary and higher education opportunities in leading institutions in the UK. Subsequently, Mr. Kitti played a significant role in establishing Gen Education Thailand to expand the scope of international education counseling for Thai students.
With over 10 years of experience in the field of education, particularly in international studies, Mr. Kitti founded First Honor to focus on enhancing English proficiency for students through summer camp programs abroad in countries such as the UK, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. To this day, First Honor is well-regarded and trusted by numerous educational institutions in Thailand for organizing summer camp programs and providing advice on studying abroad.
Ms. Rapeephan Rattanakomut obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and Management, The University of Nottingham, and a Master's degree from the International Business at The University of Nottingham. She began her career in education by founding Xcel Tutor, a renowned tutoring school in Prachinburi Province. The school focuses on supporting students' participation in academic activities both domestically and internationally, allowing them to fully demonstrate their potential and pursue effective future studies.
Ms. Rapeephan is responsible for managing the core curriculum within the school to ensure that students receive a high-quality education. In 2020, she joined the Education Committee of Prachinratsadornamroong School, a prominent school in Prachinburi Province. Additionally, Ms. Rapeephan is an expert in developing skills and planning educational systems to international curricula. She has been involved as an advisor at Gen Education Malaysia, a company specializing in overseas education consulting, where she provides guidance to students interested in studying at secondary and tertiary levels in leading institutions in the UK.
Furthermore, Ms. Rapeephan has contributed to the establishment of Gen Education Thailand to broaden the scope of educational counseling services available to students in Thailand. Recognizing the importance of English language skills in today's world and preparing students for effective international education, she founded First Honor, a company that organizes summer camp programs abroad in countries such as the UK, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. This initiative has been serving Thai students for over 10 years and has received positive feedback from leading educational institutions across the country.
